Silence time

I feel like we live in a world where silence has been erased.

No more silence. So much noise.

I can’t stand noise. Yet, I also realize that I don’t spend much time in silence.

The family life.
The work life.

The two leave no room for silence.

Silence is not just “environmental silence”.
Silence is first and foremost “internal silence”.

We need it. At least I know it’s vital for me. It’s where thoughts and emotions are processed.

But I also know that it’s absent from my life if I don’t protect it. If I don’t intentionally make time for it. Because there’s always something more important. Something more urgent.

“More important” and “more urgent” are lies.

Silence is important and urgent.

That’s where we find clarity.

And clarity is essential to a life well lived.
